When I got off the plane in Paris at 10:30am Sunday, I was overwhelmed with feelings. I was beyond excited to be here, yet I was nervous! Mainly because I was traveling alone and speak NO french! I got lost finding my shuttle to my apartment but it was ok because while in the shuttle I had a mini tour of the city.
While riding in the shuttle we went under, around, and past the Eiffel Tower and I had the biggest smile on my face the entire time!
Once I arrived my new roomies (Tempest and Tiffany) helped me take my luggage up three flights of stairs (pictured below).

I know in other posts I showed you all the CN Tower, which stands for Canadian National Tower, but I finally went up into the tower. It was awesome!
The tower is located in downtown Toronto and stands 553.33 meters or 1,815.4 feet.
Here is video of me outside on the skywalk of the CN Tower showing you some of the view.

I remember when I younger always enjoyed the science museums and planetariums. Well when Kim and I went to the science museum we got to have a flashback to childhood days :-).
This exhibit helped me to brush up on where organs and such are in our body.
While we were waiting on line to go inside the planetarium, I realized the floor was glittery and thought it was really cool!
I mean what kid never wanted to be an astronaut, if even for a day? I think growing up or even now people still think space travel is pretty darn cool.

I'm personally a sightseeing type of person but I know it isn't for everyone. While in Toronto, I'm sure I experienced everything a real tourist should!
We went to Casa Loma, which means "hill house" in spanish. This home is like a huge castle, it was all types of gorgeous! It was built and owned by Sir Henry Pellatt. He no longer could afford the building and the city bought the house and it is now a museum/landmark in Toronto.
We had to go to through this long underground tunnel to get to some of the places in the home. It was long, cold, and damp. Absolutely reminded me of something out of a scary movie!
That tunnel scared me! LOL

So this handy dandy Toronto City Pass, go me into so many cool attractions within Toronto and the Zoo was one of the best!
I think the craziest part about this Zoo was that quite a few of the animals were not fully caged in. LIKE FOR REAL! This Orangutan was only closed in by one wall of class but no glass on the other side and they also had a walk through bird exhibit. Below are some of my favorite pictures from the day.
Kissing a few frogs to find Prince Charming...
These are Spider Monkeys...I knew they existed but the fact that I call my brother that sometimes is what made actually seeing them comical to me.

We took a group trip to the Blue Jays v. Phillies game and even though I wasn't watching Jeter and my Yankees, it was still a good time!
Sorry about the bad face shot in this video and the Blue Jays hypeness is one of my classmates, Elliot.
This is the view of the CN Tower and part of the dome stadium from our seats.

I want to wish all the dads out there a Happy Father's Day, especially the special men in my life!
Let me start by wishing my Dad (pictured above, Mr. GQ) a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! I always have a hard time putting into words how much my dad means to me but I think he knows. From never missing a game/competition while growing up to still fixing my everyday problems, he is by far the most amazing man I know. He's still my superhero and best friend, which probably will never change!
This was my dad dropping me off in '05 for my freshman year of college (above) and a more recent picture of us (below) one random day I believe last fall.

So, we took a trip to the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) a few weeks ago and let me tell you I had FUUUUUNNNNN! I'm also a slight nerd so museums of any
Below are some of my favorite pictures from the trip.
This was a coffin. How crazy if that! It also had Louis Vuitton interior and I found that amusing.
And this armor reminded me of the movie Immortals
When I saw this guy, I immediately thought of Full House. Remember the episode when Michelle Tanner made an entire dinosaur exhibit collapse because her and her friend wanted to play tag? Come on I know you all know what episode I'm referring to! Then this guy (below) was trying to get me....AAAAAHHHHH!

Please forgive the fact that I sound like the guy from Hey Arnold that Helga always
punches in the face, my allergies are killing me today!

Below are some pictures of my trip to the Ontario Parliament Building.
This is the front of the building.
The Ontario Coat of Arms. The shield of arms consists of three golden maple leaves on a green background below the Cross of St. George. The crest is a black bear standing on a gold and green wreath, with a moose and deer supporting both sides of the shield. Below, there is a banner with the Latin motto "Ut incepit Fidelis sic permanet," which translates to "Loyal she began, Loyal she remains."

Hey everyone! Here is my first video telling you a little bit about my time here in Toronto so far. Below are some pictures of things I've done as well!
This is a picture one of the guys (Nate) took for me while on the Ferry to the beach last weekend. That tall tower is the CN Tower (which I will be going inside of soon so look out for those pics) and that globe round thingy next to it is the Stadium.
Who needs a cooler when you have Lake Ontario!
